The NYS ELA Assessment will take place on Wed., April 19th and Thurs., April 20th. In addition, NMS will administer the NYS Mathematics Assessment on Tues., May 2nd, and Wed., May 3rd.

Parent Circle
Parent Circle is a supportive, friendly, non-judgmental place where parents and guardians are welcome to share their experiences and concerns, or to just listen and know they are not alone. Once a month, parents will be invited to chat with other parents, school counselors and/or related service providers to discuss the ever-changing role of parenting.

Brian Liu Wins the Regional Spelling Bee
Brian Liu, 11, a sixth-grader at Great Neck North Middle School, won the ScholarSkills Long Island Spelling Bee held Friday night in Dix Hills. He beat 47 other spellers, winning with a word that people see on menus all the time — "Bolognese."

Congratulations to the cast, crew & pit of Newsies
Students performed Newsies in March 2023 to an almost sold out crowd and a standing ovation!

Author Visit with Nic Stone
The students at North Middle School were excited to meet with New York Times bestselling author Nic Stone on April 7th. As a token of their appreciation, they gifted Ms. Stone with a digital slideshow of some culminating projects from their Social Justice unit of study.
