Great Neck Public Schools
John F. Kennedy Elementary School
Mrs. Michelle Bell
It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as your new assistant principal. I am deeply honored to work in the Great Neck School District with its long history and sustained culture of academic excellence. I will work hard to maintain the legacy of success already established here at the John F. Kennedy Elementary School. I am committed to working in a partnership with Mr. Gimondo, the students, the parents, and the staff to nurture the academic, social and emotional development of each of our students.
I am thrilled and privileged to be a part of this wonderful community. I have eleven years educational experience spanning grades K-5, with a specific concentration in elementary teacher education and technology education. My most recent educational experience was as an elementary assistant principal in Garden City. Prior to my administrative career, I taught fifth grade, first grade, and supported teachers in grades K-5 in the area of technology integration.
On a personal note, my husband and I are the proud parents of Julie, who is two and a half, and Charlotte, who turned one in June. They are our pride and joy and make me smile every single day. Rest assured your children are in good hands as I will always keep their best interests in mind – just as I would for my own two children.
I am passionate, energetic, and love what I do! As we continue to encourage families to be partners in the educational process, my door will always be open. I look forward to meeting the wonderful students and families of John F. Kennedy Elementary School as we start the school year.
