High School Equivalency Program (HSE) Program
Eligible adult students will be enrolled in classes designed to increase their ability to transition to college, apprenticeships, workforce training or employment. The HSE program will prepare students to take the TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) examination and earn a New York State High School Equivalency Diploma. Students enrolled should expect to take classes in math, reading, science, social studies and writing.Alternative High School Equivalency Preparation (AHSEP) Program
The AHSEP program is designed to provide instruction
for out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 20, who are at risk of not graduating
from high school and earning a New York State Regents diploma. The AHSEP option is available only to Great Neck School District residents.Classes Meet:
Monday – Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
