    GNPS/TV Current Programs
    GNPS/TV programming reflects the offerings of the Great Neck Public Schools and the achievements of its students and staff. Programs may be viewed within the incorporated villages of Great Neck on Optimum Channel 75 and on Verizon Fios Channel 32. Programs are also available on-demand, 24/7, on the GNPS/TV web page.

    Programs currently airing include recent musical productions and cultural celebrations from North High and South High schools.

Registration Information

  • Kindergarten & Universal Pre-K (UPK) Registration Remains Open

    Kindergarten and UPK registration remains open for the 2021–22 school year. All registration applications are now processed online.


    All children who will attend public or private school kindergarten in Sept. 2021 must be registered. Any child who legally resides within the school district and will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2021 is eligible for kindergarten.

    Universal Pre-K

    The District offers a UPK program to all Great Neck School District residents at no cost. To be enrolled, children must be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2021.

    The Theatre South Improv Troupe will present a free improv show at the Lake Success Park, 15 Vanderbilt Drive in Lake Success, on Thursday, June 17 at 7 p.m. Bring your own chair and enjoy the show!
